The principle of the plate heat exchanger is actually very simple, basically it is composed of many channel plates, a blind plate and end plates. The latter is located at both ends of the heat exchanger, so it is very helpful to the heat exchanger and the sealing of the channel. In this system, basically the hot air flows from one direction to another. The channel plate is the place where the medium exists. When the air is present, these mediums are basically heat dissipation media. When the hot air is in contact with these media, the purpose of heat dissipation is achieved. Of course, there are many such devices. It is widely used in the industry, not only in the marine industry.

Plate heat exchanger is already one of the indispensable important equipment in ships. For example, heat exchangers are used in the main and auxiliary engine oil cooler, cylinder liner fresh water cooler, fuel heater, steam condenser, feed water heater and other equipment. However, the special working environment of the ship has very strict requirements on the heat exchanger. The special environment includes factors such as instability on the sea surface, which may be subjected to vibration, shock, large angle tilt and noise. The cooling medium is generally seawater, which contains The salt concentration is large, the working environment humidity is high, the corrosiveness to the plate is very strong, the space benefit of the ship itself is very compact, and the space and quality occupied by the heat exchanger are more strictly restricted. The heat transfer medium of the traditional heat exchanger is often water And, the heat transfer medium of ship heat exchanger is generally oil and water, etc. The emergence of plate heat exchangers effectively solved a large part of the problem. After the compression plate of the plate heat exchanger is removed, the plate bundle can be loosened, the plates can be removed, and mechanical cleaning can be performed.

Simply change the heat exchange area or process combination, and only need to add (or reduce) plates to reach the heat exchange area that needs to be added (or reduced). Under the premise of using the same data, because the layout requires less data, the production cost must be lower than the shell and tube heat exchanger. The plate thickness of the plate heat exchanger is only 0.6~0.8mm, and the thickness of the heat exchange tube of the shell and tube heat exchanger is 2.0~2.5mm; the shell of the shell and tube heat exchanger is heavier than the layout of the plate heat exchanger many. In the case of completing the same heat exchange mission, the heat exchange area required by the plate heat exchanger is more compact than that of the tube and shell plate heat exchanger, and the heat exchange area per unit volume is 2 to 5 times that of the tube and shell heat exchanger It is also not like the shell-and-tube heat exchanger that requires a reserved maintenance place for extraction control.
